With IPL 2025 set to resume on May 17 after a brief suspension due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, teams are replacing their overseas players as they plan for the playoffs.

The availability of the foreign players in the match-day squad would play a substantial part in determining the outcomes ahead.

Gujarat Titans will be without Jos Buttler and Kagiso Rabada after the league stage has finished and will be bringing in Kusal Mendis. Rashid Khan, Gerald Coetzee, Dasun Shanaka, Sherfane Rutherford, and Karim Janat remain unchanged.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will stick with Romario Shepherd, Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Tim David. Jacob Bethell and Lung Ngidi would be available for short-term assignments, while Josh Hazlewood's status remains unclear.

Punjab Kings will get Marco Jansen (league stage only), Mitchell Owen, Azmatullah Omarzai, Xavier Bartlett, and Kyle Jamieson, while the availability of Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis and Aaron Hardie is unknown.

Mumbai Indians will interchange Will Jacks and Ryan Rickelton (league stage) with Jonny Bairstow and Richard Gleeson (potential playoff), and have Trent Boult, Reece Topley, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mitchell Santner.

Delhi Capitals would be without Mitchell Starc, Donovan Ferreira, and Jake Fraser-McGurk, but has Mustafizur Rahman for a short stint while Tristan Stubbs, Faf du Plessis remain unchanged and will still have other players.

Kolkata Knight Riders would retain the services of Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and a few others while serieing Moeen Ali and Rovman Powell.

Lucknow Super Giants loses Aiden Markram after the league stage and now without Shamar Joseph. High-profile overseas players remain with Nicholas Pooran and David Miller.

Sunrisers Hyderabad appears stable as they only miss Wiaan Mulder.

Rajasthan Royals are without Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger but are still able to access Hetmyer, Hasaranga.

Chennai Super Kings only missing Sam Curran and Ravindra but retain Devon Conway and Noor Ahmad. Whether players can make themselves available could make the difference in the championship battle.
