Aaron Mark Hardie, better known as Aaron Hardie, is an Australian cricketer. Born on 7 January 1999, he is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler who plays as an all-rounder. He plays in the ODI and T20I cricket for the Australian national cricket team. In Domestic cricket, Hardie represents Western Australia and plays for the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League (BBL).
Born in England, he was raised in Australia. He began his career by playing for Australia in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2018. In November 2018, he represented Cricket Australia XI in a 4-day match against India at the SCG. In the match, he dismissed Virat Kohli, concluded with 4/50 in the first innings, and attained 86 as well.
In the 2018-19 edition of the Big Bash League, Hardie made his Twenty20 debut, playing for Perth Scorchers. He contributed to the Perth Scorchers’ win by 6 wickets by bowling for just one over and conceding 13 runs. In the 2018-19 edition of the Sheffield Shield season, he made his first-class debut for Western Australia. He played his first match on 20 March 2019. Later, he made his List A debut while playing for Western Australia in the 2019–20 Marsh One-Day Cup.
