Mair to Shreyanka Patil, 1 run, dropped! Plimmer juggles it a few times at backward point but eventually puts it down. Full outside off, slower one perhaps and Patil is through the lofted shot too early. She slices it in the air off the outside half. Key Moments

05:39 PM
What a start to the tournament from New Zealand. They had India rattled with their aggressive approach with the bat early on, and then had them tied down with the ball. Plenty to think about for Harmanpreet's team who can't afford any more slip-ups in a difficult group. Their NRR has taken quite a beating as well with this 58-run loss today. Coming in as one of the strong contenders, this is a big blow for them and will need something special to bounce back. That's all we have for now. This is Sagar Chawla signing off on behalf of Praveen Kumar and Anurag Hegde. Goodbye!
