J Ball to C Wood, out Bowled!! What a ball from Ball. A perfect toe-crusher to round off the game and book their place in the final. The Notts will play the Bears in the final very shortly. This was a yorker on the stumps and Wood had no clue about it. The ball sneaked under the bat and crashed into the base of middle and leg. C Wood b J Ball 2(4)

Gurney to C Wood, 1 run, dug out to short mid-wicket
04:02 PM
Gurney to Kyle Abbott, out Caught by Christian!! He's got three wickets in the over. Take a bow sir! Obviously a slower ball from Gurney, Abbott as expected, didn't read that and played early, popping a simple catch running to the right at extra-cover. Kyle Abbott c Christian b Gurney 0(1)

Gurney to Berg, out Caught by Wessels!! What an over this is turning out to be. Wicket, dot and a wicket now. This is not an easy catch for Wessels though. Had at jump high and he timed it to perfection as he completed the overhead grab. Another slower delivery on the stumps, Berg hits in the air and holes out to long-on. Berg c Wessels b Gurney 15(12) [4s-2]

Key Moments

04:08 PM
Right then, the team that batted first in the semi-finals have won the games. Is that a bit of a giveaway for the captains for the final? Afridi being dismissed first ball of the innings was a massive setback, but skipper Vince was hitting the ball really well. However, the rest of his team-mates didn't do much with the bat. It was down to a very doable 30 runs needed off 3 overs with 4 wickets in hand, but Gurney bowled a brilliant 18th over, taking as many as three wickets for next to nothing to derail Hampshire's chase. Mullaney needs a special mention. He took three crucial wickets of Alsop, Bailey and Vince and rocked Hampshire's batting-order, which saw the side slip from 97 for 2 to 120 for 5.
