Where did Surrey win it? They won it when they decided to save Tom Curran to bowl the last over. Curran got rid of Bopara and then Zaidi to prove his worth. What a game nonetheless. Essex were in it until the last over. Bopara had hit two sixes off the previous over and was batting in his zone but did not have an answer to peach of a yorker. Surrey are off to a winning start on a day that saw a tie earlier in the day. The T20 Blast is off and running and if the first day is anything to go by, we have some great matches in store for us in the coming days.
