Anton Devcich was the catalyst at the beginning, blazing away and put Auckland's bowlers off guard with his brutal ball-bashing. The match almost slipped out of the hosts' hands at the half-way mark with Knights racing to 125/2. Two wickets in an over from Lister halted the proceedings and saw Auckland clawing their way back, but Flynn and Mitchell ensured that there were no more hiccups; notching up fifties and propelled Northern Knights home by 6 wickets.
