The Christchurch-based team win in a canter, but it didn't look so when McClenaghan threatened to rip through their batting. Skipper McConchie stood tall and was able to put up small partnerships. The target was never going to be a challenge and it needed a couple of cool heads to ace the chase. Three wickets for McCleanaghan and two for Lister, but their batsmen had given them little chance of emerging victorious.
