Mohammad Hussain Talat is an international cricketer from Pakistan. He was born in Lahore on 12th February 1996. In April 2018, he made his international debut for the Pakistan Cricket Team.
His domestic cricket career kicked off at the age of 16 when Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) offered him a contract in the Ramadan T20 Cup in Karachi. Later, he joined the Under-19 team in the 2013-14 Cricket World Cup season.
Talat made his Pakistan Super League debut for Islamabad United against Quetta Gladiators in 2017. He scored 50 runs for his team to help them win the game by just one run.
In the inaugural edition of the Global T20 tournament, he was selected to play for the Toronto Nationals on 3 June 2018. Later in 2019, he earned a spot in the Balochistan’s squad for the 2019-20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He scored 253 runs, with a double-century. For his stellar performance in a game of the 2021 Kashmir Premier League, he was named the Man of the Match while playing for Rawalakot Hawks.
Hussain made his T20 International debut for Pakistan in a series against West Indies, on 1st April 2018 and earned the Man of the Match in his debut game. The Pakistan Cricket Board in August 2018, granted him a central contract for the 2018-19 season.
In December 2018, he earned a spot in the Pakistan team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Just a month later on 22 January 2019, he made his ODI debut for Pakistan against South Africa. In November 2020 he was a part of the Pakistan team that was scheduled to tour New Zealand.
Right now, Talat is busy in playing the National T20 tournament in Pakistan.
