Ellyse Perry is a remarkable Australian cricketer and a former soccer player. She was born on 3 November 1990 in Sydney. She showed exceptional talent from a young age, by becoming the youngest Australian player to appear in the ICC and FIFA World Cups.
Ellysee has always been dedicated to her passion, she used to train for hours with her father and coach, Mark. While growing up, she idolized Michael Hussey as a cricketer. She got married to Matt To’omua an Australian rugby player but later got separated.
Perry made her debut in cricket for New South Wales at the start of the 2007-08 season against South Australia. She took 2/29 and received a seven-wicket win in the Women’s National Cricket League.
The all-rounder is one of the greatest women players of all time. She made her international debut in a series for the Australian women's cricket team at just 16 years old. On 22 July 2007, she made her One-Day International debut in Darwin, and with this, she became the youngest cricketer to represent Australia. Through her outstanding performance against England, she made her T20 debut at the MCG (Melbourn Cricket Ground) on 1 February 2008 v England, where she took 4 wickets for just 20 runs which led Australia to victory.
15 February 2008, she made her test debut in the 2007-08 Women's Ashes match in Bowral, and with this, she became the youngest Australian test cricketer. She earned player of the match in the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup and made her first appearance in the ICC tournament. There she scored 36 and took 2/28 from ten overs.
Australia Women’s Team won its first T20 World Cup title in 2010 and Perry played a crucial role in this win. She missed three matches in the 2013 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India due to her injury but in the finals against the West Indies, she took 3/19 and took Australia to another ICC Trophy.
