Indian cricketer Axar Patel, whose real name is Akshar Rajeshbai Patel, was born in Anand, Gujarat, on January 20, 1994. Axar is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a left-handed hitter who plays for the national side in ODIs. In T20Is, Axar is a vice-captain who excels at both bowling and batting. Not only this, in domestic cricket, he represents Gujarat, and in the IPL, he is the captain of Delhi Capitals. Axar Patel batted at number five for the Indian squads that took home the 2025 Champions Trophy and the 2024 T20 World Cup.
