Mohammad Babar Azam, better known as Babar Azam, is a very popular Pakistani cricketer known for his right-handed batting skills and abilities, born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan on 15 October 1994, and right-arm off-break bowling. Babar Azam is a former captain across all formats of cricket: T20I, ODI, and IPL in the national cricket team.
On 31 May 2015, Babar Azam was added to Pakistan's ODI squad for the home series against Zimbabwe. On 31 May, Azam made his ODI debut and amassed a remarkable fifty runs. He also got an opportunity to play against Sri Lanka in the Test and ODI squads for an away series because of his outstanding debut. He wasn't chosen to participate in the Test series. The anticipated match took place in September 2015, during which the talented player managed to score 37 runs. He participated in a series against Zimbabwe, where he impressed everyone by scoring an unbeaten 62 runs in one of the matches.
His cricket journey has been fascinating, as in the first ODI of the four-match series against England, he hit 62 not out at a strike rate of 100. In the following three games, he scored 4, 22, and 51 points, respectively. At the end of the series, Babar Azam made an outstanding run score of 139.
