Ravichandran Ashwin's Profile

Ashwin is better known as Ravichandran Ashwin, is an Indian cricketer who is famous for his right-arm off-break bowling style and skills, which sometimes play a role as a right-handed batsman. He was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu, on 17 September 1986. He played for the Indian National cricket team and was an excellent spinner. He was also a part of the winning Indian team of the Cricket World Cup and the Champions Trophy in 2013. In his cricket journey, he excelled in all the cricket formats: T20Is, ODIs, and IPL. In domestic cricket, he represented Tamil Nadu and South Zone and played for CSK (Chennai Super Kings) in the IPL.

Ravichandran Ashwin earned fame during his cricket journey. He was one of the fastest spin bowlers, almost took 500 wickets in Test matches, and was also named the fastest bowler was able to reach 300 wickets in Test matches in the context of innings. He excelled in Tests and earned the 11th man of the series title, which not every cricketer can own. With 11 in Test matches, he shares the most Man of the Series awards of any cricket player with Muttiah Muralitharan. He bats lower in the order, has six Test hundreds, and is one of a few players to have claimed 500 wickets and collected 3000 runs in Test cricket. He owns the record for the second-highest rating points ever earned by an Indian bowler in Test cricket and was the top-ranked bowler in the ICC men's player rankings on several occasions.
