Arjun Tendulkar is an Indian cricketer who is a left-handed lower-order batter and a left-arm medium-fast pace bowler. He is the son of the renowned Sachin Tendulkar, born on 24 September 1999. Arjun represents Team Goa in domestic cricket, and previously, he represented and played for Team Mumbai.
In 2018, he made his under-19 debut against Sri Lanka. In IPL 2023, Tendulkar made his debut since he was among the squad of the Mumbai Indians, and he started playing IPL in 2021. On 15 January 2021, Arjun grabbed an opportunity to play his T20 debut match for Mumbai against Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Arjun delivered a decent performance in the first 3 overs as he took 1 wicket in 34 balls.
He was purchased and bought at auction by the Mumbai Indians before the 2021 IPL. Arjun was first added to Mumbai's senior squad in September 2021. Arjun was named in Mumbai’s team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy squad. He was later disqualified from the 2021 IPL due to an injury, though. In February 2022, the MI summoned him in again. In August 2022, he moved to Goa from Mumbai prior to the domestic season. He completed his responsibilities for them in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the season 2022-2023.
Arjun Tendulkar took advantage of the opportunity to play in a Ranji Trophy match against Rajasthan on 13 December 2022 and make his first-class debut. He reached his first century in the first innings, smashing 120 off 207 balls. On 16 April 2023, he played his first IPL match for the Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders and showcased his excellent game. In a game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar to take his first IPL wicket.
