Ryan Rickelton born on July 11, 1996, is a South African international cricketer. He made his international debut for the South African cricket team on March 31, 2022. Ryan Rickelton is a left-handed wicket-keeper batsman, who plays for Gauteng and MI Cape Town in domestic cricket.
Against Northerns, he made his first-class debut for Gauteng. He was included in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stars' roster for the inaugural T20 Global League season in August 2017. On September 1, 2017, he played his first T20 match for Gauteng in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup. The competition was first postponed until November 2018 by Cricket South Africa in October 2017, but it was soon canceled.
With 351 runs in eight games, he was Gauteng's top run scorer in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge tournament. With 562 runs in six games, he was also Gauteng's top run scorer in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup.
In June 2018, he was named in the squad for the Highveld Lions team for the 2018–19 He was included in the Highveld Lions squad for the 2018–19 campaign in June 2018. Rickelton was included in the South Africa Emerging Squad the following month. He was included in the Jozi Stars' roster for the first Mzansi Super League T20 competition in October 2018.
He was included in the Jozi Stars roster for the 2019 Mzansi Super League campaign in September 2019. He was included in Gauteng's squad for the 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup later that same month. Rickelton was announced as the Imperial Lions' captain for the 2021–2022 CSA T20 Challenge in February 2022. He joined Northamptonshire in 2022 for the County Championship that year.
