Tony de Zorzi is a left-handed batter and right-arm offbreak cricketer who plays for the South Africa National Cricket Team. The southpaw, who was born on August 28, 1997, made his first-class debut for the Northerns in the 2016–17 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup in October of that year. On October 31, 2016, within three days, he made his List A debut with the Northerns in the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge. Before making his T20 debut, De Zorzi was selected as South Africa's captain for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
In August 2017, De Zorzi joined the Pretoria Mavericks for the inaugural season of the T20 Global League. However, the event was canceled after CSA stated in October 2017 that it would be postponed until November 2018.
In January 2018, during an appearance for Titans against Knights in the 2017–18 Momentum One Day Cup, he achieved his first List A century. In July 2018, Cricket South Africa announced that he was chosen to captain the South Africa Emerging Cricket Squad.
During the 2019–20 CSA 4-Day Franchise Series in January 2020, De Zorzi achieved his maiden double century in first-class cricket. Although the 19th match of the season was drawn, he scored an unbeaten 213 runs off 351 balls against the Cape Cobras.
