Mohammed Siraj is a well-known right-arm fast bowler who was born on March 13, 1994, in Hyderabad, Telangana. He is an Indian cricket player who is a part of the Gujarat Titans team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and plays domestic cricket for Hyderabad. Siraj was awarded the man of the match in 2023 Asia Cup Final.
On 15 November 2015, Mohammed made his first-class debut for Hyderabad against Delhi in the Ranji Trophy Tournament under the guidance of Karthik Udupa. Bowler Siraj was crowned the highest wicket-keeper in the Ranji Trophy Tournament in 2016 after taking 41 wickets for Hyderabad at an average of 18.92. Siraj also made his T20 debut for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on January 2, 2016.
In the following year, Siraj played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as the leading wicket-taker with 23 wickets in 7 matches. With his brilliant stage, he was named in India A’s squad for the Deodhar Trophy in October 2018. Siraj's career accomplishments continued as he was selected for the 2019 Deodhar Trophy squad for India B.
When Siraj was selected to play in the T20I team for the series against New Zealand in 2017, his international career officially began. This was considered his Twenty20I debut for India on 4 November 2017, and he commenced this game with 1 wicket for 53 runs (4 overs).
