- 2001-2002 New Zealand v Bangladesh- Both teams met for their first Test match in Seddon Park, Hamilton in 2001. The Black Caps won this match by an innings and 52 runs, thanks to Mark Richardson, who opened the game with 143. Besides, Craig McMillan also scored 106 to help his side pose a challenge to the visitors. The Bangla Tigers played two innings; however, they could amass only 205 and 108 in the first and second innings, respectively.
- 2008-2009 Bangladesh v New Zealand- This match is considered a turning point for Bangladesh in the Bangla-Kiwi rivalry. Bangladesh, being dominant over New Zealand, won the match by 7 wickets. It is a proud moment for the Bangladesh team that they won the match in their hometown in the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka. Bangladesh scored 202 runs in 45.3 overs, while New Zealand scored 201 runs in 50 overs.
- 2009-2010 New Zealand v Bangladesh- Both teams met for their 1st T20I match in Seddon Park, Hamilton on 3rd February, 2010. In this match, New Zealand secured a win over Bangladesh by 10 wickets. - 2010-2011 Bangladesh v New Zealand- This is the 4th match of the ODI series played between Bangladesh and New Zealand at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka on 14th October, 2010. In this game, Bangladesh showed their cricketing spirit in their hometown by winning the match by 9 runs.
- 2012 ICC Twenty20 World Cup - It is the 5th T20I match of the tournament played in Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele, Kandy, on 21st September, 2012. New Zealand outplayed Bangladesh by winning the match by 59 runs. Brendon McCullum’s amazing performance of 123 off 58 in the match led the Black Caps to victory in the game. He also won the Man of the Match title for his brilliant batting display.
- 2013-2014 Bangladesh v New Zealand 1st ODI match- In this match, Bangladesh showed their dominance over the Black Caps by winning the match with 43 runs (D/L method). In this competition, Bangladesh scored 265 runs in 49.5 overs, thanks to Mushfiqur Rahim (90 runs) and Naeem Islam (84 runs). New Zealand scored only 165 runs in 29.5 overs.
- 2016 ICC Twenty20 World Cup - In the 28th match of the 2016 T20 World Cup held in Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 26th March, New Zealand once again secured a big win over Bangladesh by 75 runs. In this match, New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat. Kane Williamson's (42 runs) good batting made New Zealand's win possible. He also won the Man of the Match title.
- 2018-2019 New Zealand v Bangladesh- In the 2018-19 season’s Hamilton Test, played on 28th February, 2019, the rivalry got heated up between New Zealand and Bangladesh. New Zealand showed their dominance over Bangladesh and won the match by match by an innings and 52 runs. In this match, New Zealand scored 715/6d while Bangladesh scored 234 & 429 runs.
- 2018-2019 New Zealand v Bangladesh - On 8th March 2019, when playing the 2nd test of the series at Basin Reserve, Wellington, New Zealand once again clean-swept Bangladesh with a victory by an innings and 12 runs. Ross Taylor (200) and Henry Nicholls (107) put up fantastic performances, achieving victory for New Zealand.
2020 to Recent Matches :
- 2021 - 2022 New Zealand v Bangladesh - In the 2nd Test on 9th January, 2022, also played at Hagley Oval at Christchurch, Bangladesh played against the Black Caps. In this instance, the Black Caps were much stronger than Bangladesh and defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 117 runs. Tom Latham scored 252 and Devon Conway scored 109.
- 2020 - 2021 New Zealand v Bangladesh - As one example in the evidence pool, in the 3rd ODI match, the Black Caps won by 164 runs. Black Caps scored 318 in 50 overs, while Bangladesh made it to 154 runs after being forced to chase a score in the 50 overs.
- 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup - As part of their respective Group 1 schedules, they were now playing their respective Group match with the 11th match of the ICC World Cup. The Black Caps won convincingly against Bangladesh by 8 wickets. The Black Caps won by 248 runs in 42.5 overs, while Bangladesh completed their 50 overs for a total score of 245 runs.
- 2023-2024 Bangladesh v New Zealand - In the first test match of the 2023-24 series between these two teams, Bangladesh defeated New Zealand by 150 runs. Bangladesh won the toss and were able to bat first, the players in the Bangladesh team were able to bat from the first ball to the final ball. Player Mahmudul Hasan Joy in the Bangladesh team made a sensational half-century score of 86 runs and was the key player in the victory of Bangladesh.
- 2023-2024 New Zealand v Bangladesh 1st T20I match - The spectacular match was played in McLean Park, Napier on 27 December 2023. Bangladesh won this match by 5 wickets.
- 2025 ICC Champions Trophy - The 6th match of the 2025 Champions Trophy was played in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 24 February 2025. Once again, New Zealand was able to beat Bangladesh by 5 wickets. Rachin Ravindra was excellent with the bat and made a century.
